Smarty’s SIM-only plans

Smarty’s plans are all 30-day SIM-only deals which include unlimited calls and unlimited texts - with varying data allowances. It’s a unique network that rewards its customers with discounts on any data leftover each month - and you can cancel at any time.

Say, for example, you have a 8GB allowance, but only use 5GB. On most networks, after 30 days you would lose that data, whereas Smarty will buy back the extra 3GB for £1.25 per gigabyte. That means you'll get £3.75 off your next bill.

With Smarty, there are a small handful of SIM-only plans to choose from, ranging from 4GB data per month up to unlimited data plans. All come with unlimited calls and texts too.

Does Smarty Mobile offer phone plans?

Smarty doesn’t currently offer contracts which include handsets, as all its plans are SIM-only. This means you’ll need to either use your existing phone or buy a new one to join this supplier.

Its 4G coverage now reaches 91% of the population, while indoor 3G coverage now stands at 98%. 5G is ever-expanding, currently covering at least 30% of the population. 

Do use its coverage checker before you sign up to a plan, however. All mobile networks have their black spots, and 99% of the population doesn't mean 99% of the country geographically.
