On the face of it, there’s not much to tell the Galaxy S20 FE and the standard S20 edition apart: both have a protruding symmetrical camera setup at the back, and boast almost identical designs. Difference is, the material itself does feel cheaper than the standard version – though, for the price point, we can certainly live with that.

The phone also comes in a range of colours, including Cloud Navy, Cloud White, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint and Cloud Red.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE boasts three cameras on its back – a 12-megapixel, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an 8 megapixel telephoto, along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front, too.

As with the standard S20 edition, there’s a fair few features on offer. The main camera, for example, has an extra large sensor that lets in more light than usual. This means you’re pictures will look extra sharp – even in murky or low-light conditions. And the ultra wide lens can capture double the amount of scene than the main camera, too.

Lastly, with the telephoto lens, you get 3x optical and 30x digital zoom. As a result, scene optimisation will be especially high. Other notable features include Panorama, Night, Live Focus, Live Focus Video, and two Slow-Mo modes.

Battery

Impressively, the Samsung S20 FE edition contains a massive 4,500mAh battery.

Processor

One of the Galaxy S20 FE’s stand-out features is Samsung’s excellent, Exynos 990 processor. It’s worth mention that the 5G version runs on the Qualcom Snapdragon 865 chipset – to accommodate the phone’s 5G capabilities.
