What is the Google Pixel 3 XL like?
The Google Pixel 3 XL boasts much of the same specs and features - like dual-speakers, a fingerprint-sensor and integrated Google Assistant - as the standard, 5.5” Google Pixel. And, thanks to its Android Pie Operating System, it’s just as easy to navigate too. The main difference is, the battery will last longer and - you guessed it - the phone is bigger.
Here’s some more of our favourite features:
Design - not withstanding its impressive innards, Google hasn’t been too adventurous with the Pixel 3 XL’s design - the prominent display notch won’t be for everyone. That said, there’s plenty going on under the bland aesthetics to make up for it.
Screen - the Pixel 3 XL boasts a 2960 x 1440 resolution, OLED screen that supports HDR play-back on certain apps and colours sizzle on the screen.
Performance - choose between storage options of 64 and 128GB to go with 4GB of RAM and a super-powerful, Snapdragon 845 processor.
Camera - like the Pixel 3, the XL model has a 12.2 camera at the back and two front-facing, 8MPs cameras both with HDR (high dynamic range) capabilities. Plus, it can also record video at up to 4K resolution.
Battery - we’re pleased to say the Google Pixel 3 XL packs a pretty hefty 3,430mAh non-removable battery. Although not as big as larger Apple and Samsung Galaxy phones, it still comes with a fair amount of juice nonetheless, and is enough to last the whole day.
