How to prepare my iPhone 13 Pro to sell

There are two key things you need to do to get your iPhone 13 Pro ready to be sold: back it up and then wipe it. These can be done via the Settings app.

To back it up, select your Apple ID at the top of the Settings menu and then iCloud. Wiping it is also a good bet and means your data will stay safe.

Once this is done, use the package that your recycler posts you to send it off to them.

Do I need to wipe my iPhone 13 Pro before selling?

It’s not essential, but we highly recommend it. Wiping your iPhone 13 Pro means your data and information will stay safe.

To do so, just go to Settings, scroll and find Transfer or Reset iPhone and then Erase All Content and Settings. Erase your iPhone and it’ll be ready to send off.
