According to rumours, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be Apple’s next plus-sized flagship smartphone. See everything it has to offer and how much it could cost, below…
Soon Apple will release it's latest plus-sized smartphone, the iPhone Pro Max (at least, that'w what think it'll be called). And if the rumours are true, it'll come with some impressive new specs and features.
Let's dive in...
At a rumoured 6.7-inches, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be the biggest of Apple’s new smartphones. In terms of overall design, we’re hearing rumours that the phone will borrow heavily from the iPhone 5, which could mean a metal frame with sharper edges than we’ve seen on an iPhone in recent years.
Elsewhere, there’s talk of a smaller notch and an impressive OLED screen. And it’s expected that the phone will come in five different colours, including Space Grey, Silver, Gold, Midnight Green and Blue.
Not much has been confirmed about the camera so far, but we do keep hearing from internet pundits that the iPhone 12 Pro Max could feature both a triple-lens snapper and a 3D camera with a LiDAR sensor. So you’ll be able to scan objects in the room for clearer, professional looking pictures.
In terms of the battery, there’s talk online that the iPhone 12 range will feature much shorter battery lives than you might expect on flagship handsets.
|iPhone 12 Max||2775mAh|
|iPhone 12 Pro||2775mAh|
|iPhone 12 Pro Max||3687mAh|
As you might expect, the iPhone 12 Pro Max probably won’t be cheap. In fact, let’s face it, it’ll be darn expensive.
It’s expected to come in three different storage options. Here’s what most pundits reckon you should expect to pay:
- 128GB - £1,149
- 256GB - £1,249
- 512GB - £1,449
Not too bothered about splashing out on the latest handset?
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Apple have said it will release its iPhone 12 range of smartphones a few weeks later than its usual mid-September slot. So we could see the iPhone 12 Pro Max hit shelves sometime in October, maybe even November.
Can't wait that long?
