The iPhone 5s brought a pretty momentous thing with it in 2013: it was the first iPhone to have a fingerprint sensor. Sure, you couldn’t use Apple Pay just yet, but it was a start. Besides that, it was almost identical to the previous year’s iPhone 5, sporting a dinky 4-inch screen, a surprisingly good 8MP camera, and Siri, who was still pretty new at that point. Its design was a funky one too, coming in either space grey, silver, or a brand new gold colour.

Compared with newer iPhones, however, the specs on the 5s are a little lacking. The display resolution (and size, for that matter), the dual-core CPU, the Wi-Fi - they’ve all been improved massively in later models.
