Post off your device for FREE, get paid!
Through our site, over £50million has been paid out for used consumer gadgets and there are loads of ways you can get your cash. Most people think that recyclers will send a cheque on receiving the device, but this is not the only option. Secure payments are made daily using:
- Bank Transfer
- Voucher / Gift Card
Some recyclers even offer shopping vouchers if you'd like your phone value to go towards something in particular. When choosing which recycler to send your phone to we will show all of the payment options available, so you can decide what works best for you.
Recyclers will send you a postage pack to get your phones back to them free of charge. However, if you are sending an expensive device we do recommend using Royal Mail Special/Recorded delivery to make sure the phone reaches its destination safely.
Recorded 1st and 2nd Class Delivery include a signature on receiving the device, allow you to track packages online and insures whatever you are sending to the value of £50. But, for really pricey gadgets the best choice is to spend a bit more and send it using Special Delivery - this tracks your device online, provides signature proof it has arrived, and offers compensation for any lost items valued above £50.
When sending your device, also remember to make it secure in the package and give it some protection it from harm in transit. If phones get to the recycler in a damaged state, you may receive a new reduced quote.
You will receive the best quote for your gadgets if they are in full working condition, but money is still given out for damaged phones, for example if they have lots of cosmetic damage or broken batteries. It should be remembered that some devices will simply be too damaged to sell, but this does not mean you should throw them away.
The best thing to do is check out our 'Broken Phones' page, which details what you can and can't send and what to do if you can't sell it. If it all looks good, pop your model into our search bar at the top and start comparing prices! Just be sure to check the individual terms and conditions of the chosen recycler if you are unsure.
