Double check this is the right Apple device with this product description:Are you always updating to the latest Apple device? If so we bet you’re deciding where to sell your old iPhone 5S to get the newest flagship on the market – and we wouldn’t blame you.
When Apple’s iPhone 5S was first released it was one of the best high-end smartphones on the market. Check out the full specs below to see if this is the device you’re holding right now.
Features and specs
If there’s one way to tell Apple’s iPhone 5S apart from the rest of the iPhone crowd, it’s that this was the first device to come with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. This was pretty revolutionary technology for September 2013, and Apple was the first to introduce it.
You’ll also notice that it came in space grey, white silver, and champagne gold, offering three different storage sizes – 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. If you’re holding the 64GB version it will tell you on the back of the phone, if you’re holding one of the others then be sure to check out the appropriate page to get yourself the right price!
The device also came with a 6-inch 640 x 1136 pixel Gorilla Glass display, which wasn’t exactly the best display on the market. You’ll notice an upgrade from the iPhone 5 display though, if you hold them up next to each other.
It also sported an 8MP camera, and a 1.2MP front-facing shooter – so not exactly leading camera technology for its time.
Still not sure if this is your device? You might also remember that Apple introduced its speedy A7 processor with the iPhone 5S, offering great speeds despite the 1.3GHz dual-core processor. Ringing any bells?
If not then think back to the fresh look that iOS 7 software brought with it too, you would have received your iPhone loaded with this new update.
