It’s probably about time that you traded in your iPhone 4S for an upgrade, but it’s been so long since you bought it – are you sure it’s the iPhone 4S? We’ve had a look into its full features and specifications to help you check the details.
Features and specs
The first thing that you’ll probably notice about the iPhone 4S in comparison to other iPhone models is how much smaller it is. Apple’s iPhone 5S has a tiny 3.5-inch screen which looks absolutely miniscule compared to other smartphones now on the market. You’ll notice that it’s not as high in quality as other iPhone displays either, with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to tell much by just looking at the camera. Seeing as it hasn’t exactly been Apple’s strong part for the last few years, you’ll notice that the last few models have had 8MP shooters which don’t look all that different from the outside. You’ll probably notice a few more camera software updates from before though.
It’s also bound to be a lot slower than other models. Starting off on iOS 5, then upgrading to iOS 7 it’s not exactly been using the latest technology – and when that’s all supported by an A5 chipset and dual-core 1 GHz processor it’s going to seem like a much less smooth experience than you might encounter with later versions. It is bound to be a lot faster than an iPhone 4 though – so that’s something!
Yes, it’s definitely time for a smartphone upgrade!
