Double check this is the right Amazon device with this product description:

Amazon have now released so many different versions of the Kindle tablet that it can be hard to know which one you actually own when you decide to trade it in for some cash. Not to fear, we have all the specifications you need to tell here – this is especially necessary for this tablet, which Amazon actually decided to release in two different sizes at exactly the same time as its predecessor. Let us explain…

Specifications

Amazon released the Kindle Fire at exactly the same time as the Kindle Fire HD – but there’s an easy way to tell them apart. The Kindle Fire HD is simply better, and we’re not just talking about the screen.
It comes in two sizes – one with a 7-inch 1280x800 HD display and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and the other with larger, sharper 8.9-inch 1920x800 pixel display with a slightly faster 1.5GHz dual-ore processor. Both come at a pretty reasonable price considering the screen resolution on the larger size could match the iPad.
Both devices also have a black matte finish on the back, sporting the Amazon logo at the bottom and a black shiny line through the middle saying Kindle.
