A900 was released in 2008. As this is the first model of Sony’s digital SLR alpha cameras, much has been expected from this camera. It is worthy to note that this camera is Sony’s first full frame digital SLR that has an image stabilization that is already built-in the camera. Sony does not call this as a professional camera yet. But, the price of the camera is almost the same with the pro cameras from brand competitors Nikon and Canon. This camera has a very high resolution at 24.6 megapixels that one needs a high quality and fast lens to compliment it. One of the features that you can find is the SteadyShot inside image stabilization which is great to control hand shakes especially in zoomed shots. It also has the Exmor CMOS image sensor that allows one to capture a larger area. Other features include intelligent preview function, fast auto focus system, a 3inch LCD screen, anti dust technology and other great features. As a professional camera, Sony A900 is already outdated when it comes to design and features. Since its release, there have been newer model in the market that have more superior features than this camera. Since this model has been discontinued by sony, it might be time to sell Sony Alpha DSLR-A900 24.6 megapixel and buy a new dslr.
