The BlackBerry Storm2 9520 was released in October 2009. The predecessor of the Storm2 has quite disappointed users with its lack of Wi-Fi and the unresponsive SurePress screen hence the Storm2 was released equipped with Wi-Fi and an improved SurePress screen. The Storm2 though not very different from its previous version does have improvements like rubberized side buttons for more durability and a chrome band that makes it much better looking. The Storm2 was extremely popular with users despite being very subtly different from its previous version.
