Love2Recycle review

Love 2 Recycle review - Recycling

Love2Recycle is pretty much dead in the UK, it came out around the same time as us in the 2000’s and had a good run with premium TV advertising and so on, we actually thought they’d be up there with the giants Mazuma, Cash4phones and Envirofone. Love 2 Recycle do still take UK orders and are actually run by a large international recycle group called Anovo, which run a good recycler featured on this site called Money4MyMobile, they don’t have TV advertising but they have all the backing to provide a strong service and we would recommend using them. Currently Love2Recycle as a brand slowly migrated into Europe. The brand exists in France, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Italy and Belgium.

Love2Recycle (Anovo) is located in multiple sites within the UK and this website is a major part of the Anovo repair and tech division. Love2Recycle amongst some of the largest mobile phone recycling companies in the UK and Europe.

Love2Recycle has a need for top grade refurbished mobile phones. Love2Recycle are unique within the recycling market by having the facilities to increase the percentage of mobile phones that are re-worked and available for re-use.

Love2recycle review - It's easy to recycle phones for cash

How Love2recycle works - Love2recycle.com is an mobile phone recycling website allowing consumers to get some cash for an old or used phone.

Within the Love2recycle.com web site is a free text search box to enable you to type in the model or manufacturer of the handset you wish to recycle. There is also many handsets listed on the homepage, but as I mentioned, the gas is off on this site and most of the phones are very outdated and not the popular handsets people search for on this website.

  • Step 1 - Find for the mobile on the site and see what it's cash value is
  • Step 2 - Input your details onto the Love2recycle.com website and ship the old device to Love 2 Recycle by the free post service available.
  • Step 3 - Once the phone is received and checked by Love 2 recycle you will receive the settlement amount shortly after.

Love 2 recycle review - Postage Alternatives

Love2recycle recommends that you use the recorded postal service for top priced handsets to ensure secure transit of your used phone, a recorded postal service will also give you an insurance cover up to £500

What to send to and what not to send to Love2recycle

  • Handset - In the condition you stated (working/non-working)
  • Battery - Leave a little charge in the battery, this will help them perform the checks that are required quicker.
  • Remove the SIM card and any Memory cards
  • Charger - this is optional.
  • Delete any personal data or security codes with a factory reset option available on most handset - They should do this for you but just provides more comfortable feeling.

Love2recycle review - Payment

Currently Love2recycle only provides a single method of settlement.

  • Cheque - A Cheque addressed to you is sent following Love2recycle receive and validate the phone that you have sent in. A Cheque is processed by your bank within five days (business) as standard.

Love 2 recycle review - Charity / donate your mobile alternatives

Love2recycle does not currently allow customers to make a donation or contribution of the money settled to charity or carbon offset trust.

Conclusion

  • Owned by a huge worldwide company (Anovo)
  • Love2Recycle are an old brand that should be probably avoided
  • The company Anovo operates another recycle website called Money4MyMobile whom we recommend
