Cash4Phones processes huge numbers of recycled devices every day. They have a good website that is easy to use and good emails that keep you informed of where your device is in processing. Please be aware that Cash4Phones will downgrade the value of your device if it doesn't meet the standards as set out. We recommend customers to take a picture of their device before sending to them in case of any queries. Cash4Phones recommendation is based on the large number of satisfied customers and excellent prices for good condition handsets.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Sent two blackberrys to this company in the same package and they told me they had only recieved one. The one they say they had recieved they gave me £30 instead of £62, there reason for this was because it had cosmetic damage. I know when i sent the phone it didnt have a mark on it.

Sent following complaint to Cash4Phones - also complaint to be sent to Money4Machines - I'm concerned this is an industry wide scam.FTAO Phil HenchozManaging DirectorCash4Phones.co.ukI was offered £155 for my Sony Xperia S last week and sent it in to you accordingly. It was in very good condition.I got an email back saying you had revised your offer down by £100 because of “- Cracked or Damaged Back Casing” (a spare part costing £2.85 to replace – see attached). I had to pay £8 to get my phone back which I have done. I took it into CEX to ask them if they thought it was in good condition and they agreed. I have not used their service but is this your business procedure. Value high then offer an outrageously low amount with a penalty for returns. Is this an industry wide pattern? – the same week I sold my older HTC Desire Z through Cash4Phones for £20 after they offered me £35 saying the speaker was crackly on calls – it was not – in fact it was a new machine swapped out very recently by HTC.I am very upset by this ‘sale’, I will be placing a review on c0mparemymobile and will contact moneysavingexpert, Watchdog and ‘You and Yours’ to research and expose this scam unless you can reassure me that this was a mistake and it is not endemic. Having to send phones off multiple times and write letters of complaint is a waste of my time, I am disabled with Parkinson's disease and still try and work in my limited 'good' time of the day to support my young family - I resent wasting it.I look forward to hearing from you

I can not say it more strongly - this company are absolute sharks, their business plan reads something a long the lines of; Give best quote so offer is accepted, then delay the process as much as possible so we can push the price down (citing due to delay in receiving the phone the market has dropped - of course never could increase) then when the customer has wasted £6.50 on special delivery (as we send only plastic slip to send us the phone in), we then low ball them to a third of the initial price (citing wear and tear... as the phones are not brand new - who can argue with this haha) then to the final insult... we offer to send it back for £8.95, so the customer has been so tired out by our above tactics they just want the nightmare to end and accept our terrible final offer.. you wouldn't believe how often this works.... hahah

Cash4phones were able to offer the best price for my iPhone. It was a quick and easy process, they were very informative along the way. I was able to receive the money within a few days of them receiving my phone, straight into my account.

I was clearing a few boxes in the loft when i came across my ole Nokia E71, which i hadn’t seen for months. By the looks of things it was still in good nick so i decided to trade it in and have it recycled. When i looked online there were loads of recycle websites to choose from so i compared them and went with the best quote, which was cash 4 phones. I requested a pack to be sent out and received it within the next few days. I sent my phone in and they called me to confirm that they had received it and asked if I was happy to go ahead with the given quote. It seemed to be a fair quote and better then what i was being offered form the other sites so I agreed. So many of my mates have used recycle websites and have been more than dissatisfied with the service. I was lucky enough not to have a bad experience with cash 4 phones and i will definitely use them again.

On many occasions i have wanted to use one of these recycle websites but hadn’t . I had two mobile phones that i wanted to recycle and the money was needed at that time. After the initial enquiry online I was given a quote for both phones which I was happy with. I sent the phones in together and was notified once they had received them. At this stage I was told that they had to be examined by their tech guys to check that they were in working order. Once this was confirmed I received another call form the customer service team to advise that they were giving me a counter offer on one of my phones. The reason for this was wear and tear as the phone had a few scratches on the surface. They reduced the quoted price by £13 and confirmed that i was ok with this before completing the process. I accepted the offer for both phones and a cheque was then sent to me. The service was very helpful and simple and I have recommended them to my friend for her to use.

Me and my best mate both had phones to recycle, we looked up the best sites to use based on price. I decided to go with cash4phones whilst she went with another website. I was quoted a really good price for my Galaxy s2 and requested a pack to be sent out. This came relatively quickly which was a good start. When they received my pack i was sent a confirmation email from their customer services. I then received a phone call from them informing me that as my phone had minor wear and tear they were going to give me a reduced offer, or i could have my phone sent back to me. For a used Galaxy s2 i think £120 is quite competitive. Meanwhile my friend was not having such a great experience as she was told that her phone was worth £64 when she was originally quoted £118. LMAO. I was happy with the offer and on acceptance they sent a cheque to me within days. I cannot fault this service.

I have been considering trading in my mobile for a long time now and finally got round to it. I looked around at other comparison websites and made a few enquiries. To be honest i chose cash4phones simply because their staff were really helpful and polite. I requested a pack online and sent in my phone a few days later. They had a look at it and gave me a counter offer for my blackberry curve. This was slightly less than the original offer because of the wear and tear on the phone. I had a few days to accept this, which i did and the called me to confirm that my cheque was in the post. This is the 1st time i have used this sort of service and im really happy with it. I have recommended them to my girlfriend as well.

My son bought me a blackberry for my birthday which was a lovely gesture but not quite right, considering i hardly use my phone and couldn’t even imagine how i would use a blackberry. I thought id trade it in and get the money instead (with his permission of course). It was a very straight forward process, even for me. I got the quote online and requested for a pack to be sent. I sent my phone in and agreed with the staff to go ahead and trade the device. Once i accepted, they called me to let me know that a cheque had been issued. I got the money relatively quickly and treated my son to a nice meal. I give cash4phones a 10/10 for customer service and overall experience.

I got a new phone this Christmas and had no real use for my old one, being somewhat of a novice to the recycle websites i wasn’t to  sure whether to use one or just go for a private sale. Thinking about it the last time i sold a phone to a mate he took forever to pay me so i looked into the recycle websites. Cash4Phones came up first and the quote they were offering was quite decent. I requested a free pack and sent my phone in to be traded. They have technicians that examine the phones to make sure that the phones are in working condition. My phone had a few scratches here and there so i was offered a counter offer, which was a bit lower than my original price. I called up to query the counter offer and the staff explained it all to me. I looked around for the average going price for a Samsung Galaxy S2 and their offer was still quite competitive. I decided to accept the offer and they sent me a cheque in the post a few days later. The whole process was quite straight forward and for that reason alone I can’t complain. If I have another phone for sale I always use Cash4Phones.
